Our first CSBT/SCL workshop at the recently constructed Bright Suite extension to the first floor of the Green Build Hub was a presentation on 18 October on Geothermal Energy organized by TEVI with Peter Ledingham of GeoScience Ltd based in Falmouth and attended by over twenty representatives from companies and professionals engaged in the local construction sector.
Peter’s presentation included a overview of the geothermal world history and science highlighting what is happening in Cornwall and the potential of utilizing the formal practice of extracting heat from existing Cornish mine workings to provide a source of lower temperature surface heating.
